If you are planning to start the new year as you mean to go on then now is the time to stock up on a few healthy recipes. BBC Good Food has shared some mouth watering recipes including Singapore Noodles, Spinach and Ricotta Pie and Fish Stew with Fennel and Orange.
January is usually the time for some new year thrift, so why not rustle up some delicious suppers with storecupboard staples and create some superb healthy and low-cost meals from lamb stuffed aubergines to cheese and bacon lasagne?
According to Eat Seasonably Kale is king for seasonal eaters! It tastes and grows best during the coldest of months, particularly January. It’s also known as the new blueberry, due to its amazing vitamin and mineral count it has made its way up to the top of the Superfoods chart.
Talking about Kale Eat Seasonably says it: “…Works well in stews and soups like ribbolita.Try it sautéed with chilli and garlic and use it to dress pasta with a good lug of olive oil, salt and pepper and a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.”
